Overview: Rub shoulders with the night time revellers out to explore the city in all their Sevens finery. If it exists within the realms of the imagination, you will probably see it and shoot it tonight at this kick-off to the BIG party.
Target audience: This course is suitable for everyone. Having a solid understanding of how to use your camera manually and good understanding of basic photographic principles is preferred but not a requirement. The emphasis of this course is to be in the moment, learning to shoot in low light and having fun.
•dress for the weather and conditions •DSLR camera •one all-purpose lens •tripod (optional) •batteries •memory cards •snack and water Please note that this session is highly interactive and requires a general level of fitness. Participants will be walking for the majority of the workshop.
Class limit: This course is limited to a maximum of 12 participants, so please enrol early.
Teacher: Jordyn OKeeffe has been teaching adults how to be creative through the medium of photography for the past decade. She holds an advanced diploma of photography from Massey University, and her work has appeared in Next Magazine. Jordyn is passionate about getting students to see the benefits to their day-to-day lives of being creative. She is currently studying for an advanced diploma of creativity at the Learning Connexion.
