HBDI®-RMDS is a unique tool that is able to assist your organisation to engage in a process of discovery and enhance its risk management processes, practices and culture. One of the best features of the tool is the comprehensive reporting capability. A comparison of thinking preferences, associated with the risk 'gaps' is very helpful in directing attention to long standing risk-related issues.

Benefits of using the HBDI-RMDS
This tool will add the following benefits to your organisation:
An increased awareness of your management and employee perceptions and attitudes towards risk management; thinking about risk is an essential part of organisations’ risk capabilities
Facilitated understanding of both your organisation’s / team’s risk profile and your thinking preferences; this supports a structured approach to risk management change programmes and applies OD principles

Reduced costs through increased awareness of risk issues and opportunities
Benchmarking of the current organisational risk culture and gaps in the desired organisational risk culture, policy and practices

Supports continuous improvement through identification of key strengths and opportunities for further development as well as weaknesses and improvement areas

The HBDI-RMDS is the start of an organisational risk management improvement program that engages the organisation’s thinking about risk. It continues to pay off in terms of a range of benefits for employees, managers and the organisation.

Implementing the HBDI-RMDS Program
The first HBDI-RMDS program that any organisation implements is run by a Herrmann International Asia risk expert. The organisation can then choose to:
Continue using Herrmann International Asia to run subsequent programs
Get their own in-house person trained to run subsequent programs.

This training process involves:
Selecting someone from the organisation who is already a fully HBDI Certified Practitioner
Having them participate in the first HBDI-RMDS program
Having them co-train the second HBDI-RMDS program with the Herrmann International Asia risk expert.

Once this process is complete, the organisation is able to manage and run the entire program itself.
