Project Management: In today's turbulent and complex environment, the ability to manage and achieve significant organisational goals has become an increasingly vital skill. Project management has therefore moved rapidly into virtually every industry sector in New Zealand, from agriculture and insurance to banking and telecommunications. The successful implementation of projects requires structured processes and tools and techniques that enable organisations to achieve results and improve their bottom line performance. Smart organisations therefore pursue ways to develop their capacity to consistently and continually achieve successful project outcomes.
Victoria Professional and Executive Development is pleased to offer a suite of Project Management workshops, Practical Project Management, Project Management Level 1 and Project Management Level 2 facilitated by Ron Eckman.
Project Management Level 2: This programme is designed to extend your project management knowledge and skills and consists of two topics. The first topic is the The Art of Project Management. It focuses on leadership, communications and the human aspects of project management. The second is The Science of Project Management. This day focuses on the quantitative aspects of project management, in particular, financial, schedule and risk management. The workshops are highly interactive to enable you to benefit from the experience of the other participants and the presenter. There will be a number of hands-on exercises to develop your practical skills.

It will also benefit project sponsors who want to add value to the projects they sponsor and improve their organisation's project management maturity.
