Overview: A fast moving workshop to get those creative juices flowing - stop thinking and start taking pictures. This is a fast-paced class with a design-based challenge for all skill levels.
Target audience: This course is suitable if you have a solid understanding of how to use your camera manually. You will need to have a good understanding of basic principles, for example, depth of field, metering, focusing and use of shutter speed and ISO.
Course format: 2.5 hours (2 hours shooting with informal group sharing session at a local restaurant or pub with general critique)
What to bring:
•dress for the weather and conditions •camera •one all-purpose lens •batteries •memory card •snack and water Please note that this session is highly interactive and requires a general level of fitness. Participants will be walking for the majority of the workshop.
Class limit: This course is limited to a maximum of 6 participants, so please enrol early.
Teacher: Jordyn OKeeffe has been teaching adults how to be creative through the medium of photography for the past decade. She holds an advanced diploma of photography from Massey University, and her work has appeared in Next Magazine. Jordyn is passionate about getting students to see the benefits to their day-to-day lives of being creative. She is currently studying for an advanced diploma of creativity at the Learning Connexion.
