The aim of this one-day workshop is to challenge your leadership thinking, to expose you to new models of collaboration and to give you some strategies for developing a future focused organisation.
This workshop addresses the leadership behaviours of Adaptability, Collaboration, and Creativity and Innovation on our Leadership Competencies Framework.
Today’s leaders operate in a global context that requires new cultural and intergenerational communication and technological skills. This Networked Leadership workshop introduces you to the key trends in leadership for the future. It focuses on providing practical tools and strategies that will help you and your organisation to be more collaborative, focused and technologically aware; better enabled to thrive in the new environment.
Participants are asked to bring their laptops or tablets and to complete an online survey prior to the workshop.

Dr Cheryl Doig holds diploma, bachelor, master and doctoral qualifications in education from New Zealand and Australian universities. She currently works internationally as a leadership consultant, focusing on innovation and change. Her passion is for growing personal and professional leadership at all levels in order to build sustainable change.
Cheryl incorporates the use of information communication technologies into her work and provides support, facilitation and consultation in both face-to-face and on-line environments.
She is nationally recognised for her prior roles as principal/chief executive at Richmond School and Fendalton School in Christchurch. She combines experience as a successful principal, businesswoman and board director with the use of research and a healthy dose of realism to facilitate leadership needs.
Cheryl has more than 10 years board experience, including two years as Chair. Her board appointments encompass NZIM Southern, NZIM Inc and CORE Education. She is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Management and a member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand.
