“Constant endeavour plus management amounts to success” G.S. Alag
Most new managers and team leaders are promoted into management because they were good at their previous role and not necessarily because they are natural managers or leaders. Getting the best out of people and a team requires a different set of skills and new ways of thinking.
This popular blended professional development programme comprises two day’s classroom facilitation with two weeks between each day. It includes an online forum made up of a pre-work component, a follow-up coaching session to embed your learning, and opportunities to meet and discuss progress and challenges with the facilitator and other learners.
New or prospective managers are trained in practical people management and leadership techniques, receiving the knowledge and confidence to start them on the road to success. The course is designed to help those being groomed for management an opportunity to think about how their role will change.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this programme, it is expected you will have the tools to be able to:
• Reflect on what makes a great manager and what you want to do to move towards this
• Have strategies to improve how you communicate as a manager
• Conduct an assessment of your own behavioural style using the renown TetraMap™ profiling tool
