Most new managers and team leaders are promoted into management because they were good at their previous role and not necessarily because they are natural managers or leaders. Getting the best out of people and a team requires a different set of skills and new ways of thinking.
This popular blended professional development programme comprises two day’s classroom facilitation with two weeks between each day. It includes an online forum made up of a pre-work component, a follow-up coaching session to embed your learning, and opportunities to meet and discuss progress and challenges with the facilitator and other learners.
New or prospective managers are trained in practical people management and leadership techniques, receiving the knowledge and confidence to start them on the road to success. The course is designed to help those being groomed for management an opportunity to think about how their role will change.

• Coach your direct reports to change behaviours and improve performance using conversational and feedback methods
Participants are profiled using TetraMap™ and are expected to reflect on how they can improve as managers. They are encouraged to liaise with their own managers and the facilitator throughout the programme to share their learning and how they are applying this back at work.
