The task of leadership is not to put greatness into people, but to elicit it, for the greatness is there already." John Buchan
Often HR courses can be theoretical and misaligned with the true business needs of an organisation. Participants return back to their work environment with a lot of knowledge but no practical skills. This programme provides a simple introduction to Human Resource Management and delivers sound practical understanding of the key components of HR whilst at the same time enabling the participant to understand how to generate added business value.
The first day is focused on Operational Human Resource Management and the second day is split with the first half working through Strategic Human Resource Management and the second half on Human Resource legislation.
As a key module of both the NZIM Diploma in Management - Level 5 and the NZIM Diploma in Management (Advanced) - Level 6, this programme is a core programme to start you on your professional development journey to formal and professional academic recognition.
