You will review and build upon the skills, knowledge and competencies developed in Stage 1 and the role of the representative. The main focus will be on specific hazard identification and control including the use of Approved Codes of Practice, using accident data to identify trends and internal self-assessment or audits, in order to prevent injuries.
What you will be able to do • Understand the legal responsibilities of employers and employees in the workplace • Gather and interpret accident and injury data • Conduct an internal audit or self-assessment • Identify critical health and safety hazards • Comply with relevant codes of practice

• Revision of Stage 1 H&S Representative Training • Gathering and interpreting accident and injury data • H&S Management systems internal audit or self-assessment • Hazard identification - body mapping, critical health and safety hazards • Reading a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
