Our From Page to Stage workshop focuses on using your personal qualities to create an impression, rather than relying on notes or PowerPoint. Let us show you how to breathe more life into your presentations.
This 1-day workshop will help you to approach and deliver a presentation with confidence.
This workshop is an excellent companion to the other workshops in our presentations skills suite: Thinking Visually and Speech Writing.
Workshop topics
You’ll identify the hallmarks of the professional speaker, and learn how to:
simplify your message, and illustrate it with stories
create a script from a written paper
start strongly, and make an impact on your audience
maintain rapport throughout your presentation
use your body, hands, and voice effectively
read and relate to an audience.
How you’ll learn
You’ll be asked to bring a written presentation to the workshop, and during the day you’ll turn it into a delivery script. You’ll have the opportunity to practise delivering that script, and to receive feedback from your audience.
