Overview:
This workshop walks you through the entire incident management process, from the reporting, recording and investigation techniques right through to injury management and rehabilitation. The workshop also centers on why incidents may not be reported and some ways of overcoming this. It also looks at injury causation models and the importance of these in investigating effectively.

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
Understand the human costs of an accident.
Outline why workplace accidents need to be reported; recorded and investigated.
Understand the reasons why people may not report accidents and how to overcome this.
Understand injury causation models.
Be able to effectively undertake an investigation.
