By achieving the key areas of this programme, participants will be able to: •Understand the key elements of the business finance environment •Apply capital budgeting techniques and evaluate investment decisions •Apply knowledge of working capital to effectively manage a business for a given situation •Compare and contrast financing options to recommend a course of action •Apply business finance knowledge to a given situation and provide recommendations •Discuss and understand the principles of capital structure and cost of capital, and calculate the cost of capital

Based in Singapore, Richard was Vice President, Asia Pacific, for Motorola Cellular, having been Managing Director of Motorola New Zealand for more than two years. In addition, Richard has held a number of other senior management positions including General Manager of Epson New Zealand.
