Blogging gets you noticed, whether you write for an organisation or for yourself. Blogging is an effective, direct way of sharing stories, events, beliefs, and inspirations.
The workbook for this hands-on workshop is a blog—and we’ll be developing content for the blog throughout the morning. Writing for blogs is different from writing for print, and from other kinds of web writing.
You’ll cover blog-writing techniques that ensure your readers connect with your messages, learn some blogging secrets, and get insights on how to keep your blogs regular, inspired, and up to date. And you will walk away with two draft entries for your own blog.
Who this training is for
You’ll benefit from this session whether you already write blogs for organisations or for yourself, or you’re launching into the blogosphere for the first time. You’ll get ideas for grabbing your audience’s attention and engaging them in a conversation. You’ll practise writing blogs in your own style to suit the needs of web readers.
