A tremendous amount of work is being done by the US Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) working together to move toward a single set of high quality global accounting standards. To accomplish this, both IFRS and US GAAP are being changed. The pace of change development is accelerating, creating a huge implementation challenge.
