This one-day course is a refresher and a confidence booster for those people who are feeling hesitant about their English grammar. This course will provide you with tools to help you edit your documents for both grammatical and punctuation errors.

At the conclusion of this short course, you will be able to confidently construct concise and grammatically correct documents.

Course outline
• using an effective process for self-editing and proofreading
• exploring the trends in grammar, spelling and punctuation - what's changed since you were at school?
• writing active sentences
• using apostrophes correctly
• getting subject-verb agreement right
• sorting out common confusions. For example, I or me; you or yourself? Who or whom? That or which?
• answering your questions about spelling, punctuation and grammar - bring your list.
